  • At least 5 years of experience in product management within energy storage, batteries, or power electronics.
  • Solid knowledge of battery technologies, charging strategies, and energy management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to work from the office and travel internationally on occasion.

Sales Manager - Australia - Victoria
(covering parts of South Australia & New South Wales)

Victron Energy is looking for a self-motivated, organised Sales Manager to help grow and maintain our presence in Victoria, as well as select areas of South Australia and New South Wales. This role will focus on the Marine, Vehicle, and Off-Grid sectors, working directly with distributors, dealers, installers, and OEM partners to support and grow their business with Victron.

You’ll work remotely from your base in Victoria, reporting to the Regional Sales Director – APAC. The role includes regular travel throughout your territory, customer visits, training sessions, and attending trade shows.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, installers, and OEMs
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities in your assigned territory
  • Provide technical product training and support to partners and customers
  • Visit customer sites to support installations and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage your time and territory effectively, including planning and reporting
  • Attend local and international trade shows, exhibitions, and events
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, and provide regular feedback
  • Ensure product knowledge and brand presence is maintained across the partner network
  • Support marketing and promotional activities in your territory

What we’re looking for

  • Based in Victoria and able to work independently from home
  • Someone who would like to work for Victron in Australia as an independent contractor
  • A well-organised self-starter who can manage their own schedule
  • Strong, demonstrable commercial skills
  • Experience in the renewable energy, marine, and or vehicle sectors
  • Understanding of Victron products is a strong advantage
  • Electrical trade or engineering background is highly desirable
  • Confident in delivering technical presentations and hands-on product demos
  • Willingness to travel within Australia and overseas as needed
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Key responsibilities

As a Finance Officer, you’ll work alongside three team members and manage operational finance processes. Your role is to ensure that the Finance operation runs smoothly.

  • Creating customer accounts for the website
  • Reviewing, processing, and recording purchase and cost invoices

  • Maintaining communication with suppliers regarding invoices and payments

  • Monitoring receivables and overseeing credit management

What do you bring to the table?

  • A minimum of MBO level (or equivalent) in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Preferable (FMCG) experience in an international environment;
  • Experience with Exact Globe or related Finance system;
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and connections;
  • A proactive and resourceful attitude with a high level of accuracy;
  • A strong team player with a service-oriented mindset and a sense of humour!

You preferably live near Almere and are available for at least 32 hours per week.
